The oraoledb.oracle provider is not registered (Doc ID 1567025.1)

SYMPTOMS
On a Password Reset server using an Oracle database repository, the following error is seen in the management console;
"the oraoledb.oracle provider is not registered"
CAUSE
Since the Self Service Password Reset application is running in 32 bit mode, the 32 bit oracle client must be installed, despite this being a 64 bit server. This error is seen when the 64 bit oracle client is installed and not the 32 bit.
SOLUTION
Installing the 32 bit oracle client resolves this issue.
